55 Football Nations loves goals – 132 goals in 46 top division leagues matches across the 36 football nations to date. Normally someone is capturing the action so you can relive the first half of Spartaks Jurmala v FC Riga in the Virsliga. Although Tartu Tammeka’s Kevin Anderson may be pleased that his spectacular own goal for FCI Tallinn has seemingly avoided the internet.
These are my top three 55FN goals. Which one is your favourite? Vote in comments, by email or social media.
Goal 1 – Georgios Efrem – APOEL Nicosia’s crucial second goal in their 3-1 win at home to AEK Larnaca (Cyprus, 22nd January 2018)
Goal 2 – Aaron Meijers – ADO Den Haag equalise in a 2-2 draw against champions Feyenoord (Netherlands, 5th November 2017)
Goal 3 – Yevgeniy Kostyukevich – unconventional equaliser for Krumkachy in their 2-2 draw in Vitebsk (Belarus, 28th July 2017)

I prefer goal 2, by Den Haag. The others were freaks!

Efrem’s goal was definitely deliberate. He takes a little look at the AEK goalkeeper’s positioning.
Simon Grigor
No.2 for me, lovely slick first time passing and a rapier of a finish.
James L
#2, although I think he could have taken a touch, so he’s not played the percentages. Not the perfect goal!
Kent C
#2 for the passes that made it possible.
